I reside in Southern California and have been a home-based entrepreneur since 1998.  I am married to a self-employed software developer and have two beautiful daughters (6th grade and 9th grade), two dogs and four cats.  I am a native Michigander and graduated from Michigan State University.  I worked in the Retail industry and the Hotel and Restaurant industry for almost twenty years.  Before leaving Corporate America for a more fulfilling lifestyle, I was lucky to have traveled all over the US as a buyer for a major department store and I have lived in Florida, Tennessee, and Massachusetts.

Moving to Southern California was the perfect move for my family. My tutor referral business, Bright Apple Tutoring is flourishing.  I enjoy helping others begin their new businesses and am constantly employing new ways to market and advertise, which I share with my HTB clients via my monthly ezine.

In my spare time I am usually training for a 10K or a half-marathon, working out with my wonderful personal trainer, hiking the mountains with my family and enjoying reading a good book.
